- Using objects at money lots.
- Getting a job via computer/newspaper.
🟢 New players get double earnings on Welcome lots for 7 days (account age).
📍 Lot Types & Pricing (Edorado)
Prices go up if next to water. Base prices (surrounded by land):
Type | Base Price |
---|---|
Dirt | §3,000+ |
Grass | §4,000+ |
Sand | §5,000+ |
Snow | §6,500+ |
Tip: Build near busy or spotlighted lots to attract traffic.

📌 You can only change your category once per week.
🪑 Furnishing Tips
- Furniture quality affects mood (room + object).
- Player stores often sell items up to 55% cheaper.
- Plan traffic: avoid tight hallways and clutter.
- Use rooms with clear roles (e.g., no toilet in kitchen).
🤝 Roommates
Up to 7 allowed. Roomies can:
- Enter without owner online
- Place and use own furniture
- Cook, restock, help guests
⚠️ Trust matters! Roomies can move or remove stuff.
🧍♂️ Hosting Sims
- Visitors need access to green-up objects.
- Use buffets, burgers, or cook manually.
- Creativity 8 = Serenade (energy + social)
- Friends 9 = Hustle (fast fun)
- Cooking 8 + Charisma 8 = Revitalize (resurrect)
💵 Tips & Costs
- Tip jars = most common payment
- 1 jar per sim; max §5,000 each
- Food/services cost money to restock
- Repairman = §100/hour (auto repair only)
🧼 Cleanliness & Damage
- Dirty = flies, roaches, lower mood

🏠 Purchasing a Property
You can own multiple properties per Sim. Each additional lot works independently, but only your first property can be relocated.
- Purchase 1st Property.
- Purchase 2nd Property.
- Purchase the rest of your Properties.
⚠️ Only your first property can be moved. "Where Is My Property" will only track that one!
🔁 Transferring Lot Ownership
You cannot transfer items along with the lot. Use trade transactions for item-less transfers.
If you're the only residents, moving out will auto-transfer ownership.
👫 Becoming a Roomie
You can be a roomie at multiple houses if you don’t own property. If you do, you can only room at one additional lot.
🏡 Lot Ownership Rules
Only way to kick roomies is in person via Transactions menu.
All owned properties share gameplay settings and permissions lists.
🔐 Property Permissions
All lots are open 24/7 unless modified with admit/ban lists.
Roomies with build permissions cannot be kicked unless their perms are revoked first.
🏷️ Property Categories
📌 How It Works
Each lot must pick a category. It affects:
- Which objects you can use

💼 Jobs
Sims can earn Simoleons and skills by working one of four unique jobs. Each job has different requirements, skill focuses, and shift structures. You’ll start at the bottom and work your way up through promotions. Jobs are a great way to socialize, roleplay, and make money.
📋 Getting Hired
Use a computer or newspaper and select Look for Job. Jobs rotate daily. If you don’t see the one you want, check again the next Sim day.
🏭 Robot Factory
Skills: Logic, Mechanical
Shift: 9 AM – 5 PM
Rounds: 4x 10min rounds + 1min breaks
Build robots on a production line. Each Sim activates their station before the robot passes. Watch for breakdowns! Diagnose and repair broken stations using tools. Robots explode if blocked too long, which kills nearby Sims. High Logic/Mechanical = faster, safer work.
- Arrive before shift starts or wait 10min for next round.
- Follow the robot's path, coordinate who handles which station.
- Use Diagnose > Get Tool > Repair for breakdowns.
- Explosions happen if a machine jams and robots pile up.
- 1 robot per round is enough to count for promotion progress.

🛠️ Crafting Info
Crafting allows Sims to build exclusive items using components and skills. You’ll need a Thumbhammer Workbench (found in Skill & Job Objects) and a Services category lot to get started.
🧰 Components
You’ll need these to craft:
- Box of Wood: Needed in most recipes.
- Bolt of Cloth: Comfort items like sofas or beds.
- Box of Spare Parts: Electronics and mechanical items.
🔧 Salvaging Items
Get components by salvaging items you own. Click an item, choose "Salvage", confirm, and hope for parts. Salvaging depends on object value, age, and your Sim’s Logic, Creativity, and Mechanical skills.
🔨 Crafting Process
Click on a Workbench and pick an item to craft. You’ll use Simoleons and components. If successful, the item appears in your inventory marked with "Crafted by: [Your Sim]".

💡 Crafting Tips
- Green your Sim (especially Hygiene, Energy, Hunger) before crafting.
- You can attempt crafting without full skills/components — just expect failures.
- Exceeding the required skill increases success rates.
- Crafted objects are often rarer than catalog items and sell for more.
🌾 Farming & Gardening
Grow vegetables (tomatoes, carrots, etc) and berries (grapes, elderberries).
They produce salads and nectars that white your needs.
🐔 Chickens
Buy chicks or adult chickens. Feed them to prevent death. They produce eggs used for baking.
To lay eggs or hatch chicks, chickens must meet the following attribute thresholds:
- Eggs: Mood ≥ 75 (based on
(Energy + Hunger) / 2
), Energy ≥ 75, Hunger ≥ 75 - Chicks: Same as above plus Social ≥ 50 and at least one nearby chicken
When these conditions are met, there's a small chance (under 1%) per server tick for eggs to spawn.
How to boost chicken stats:
- Pet: Sets Energy to 100
- Hand-feed: Sets Hunger to 100
- Sleeping: Raises Energy to 100
- Auto-feeding: Raises Hunger to 100
- Nearby chickens: Raise Social to 100
💧 Irrigation
Use sprinklers/sprayers. Manual watering also works.
Sprinklers are more efficient than manual watering. They cover a larger area and require less maintenance.

- Elderberry Nectar: 4 elderberries
- Honey Nectar: 2 grapes + 2 elderberries
🎂 Cakes
Use eggs + 3x butter. Requires Baker’s Oven and Cooking level 8+.
Some spoil—serve those first!
🎣 Fishing

🕯️ Waxmaking
To make wax efficiently, it's best to have a high Cooking skill. This allows your Sim to complete more wax stations before needing a break. While producing wax, there's also a chance to collect honey. Both wax and honey can be sold or saved for future use.
Each use of a Wax Station takes about 55 seconds and yields one wax bar, sometimes with an extra jar of honey. Wax is essential to crafting candles at the Wax Craft Bench.
To craft candles, your Sim must have level 20 in Cooking, Logic, and Creativity. Each candle requires 20 wax bars and costs §5,000 per crafting attempt. Higher skill levels increase your chance of success.
There are five candle types to craft, and if you're lucky, you may create the ultra-rare Golden Toilet!
🛠️ Stations
- Wax Station: Produces wax bars (and sometimes honey)
- Wax Craft Bench: Used to craft candles using 20 wax bars
🕯️ Types of Candles
- Gold Candle
- Green Candle
- Candle Border
- Skull Candle
- Candle Assortment
🎁 Rare Item
With luck, crafting candles may result in the 🟡 Golden Toilet.
⚠️ Hygiene & Comfort
Waxmaking quickly drains Hygiene and Comfort. With high Cooking skill, your Sim can complete up to 9 wax stations in a row before needing to sleep. You can repeat this process 4–5 times without showering if all other needs are in the white. If not, this strategy becomes less effective.
🌳 Mystic Tree
🔮 What Is It?
The Mystic Tree is exactly what it sounds like: a tree with magical properties. Once placed from your inventory and watered, it will grow into one of three types: Apple, Orange, or Lemon.
You can water or view the tree (viewing gives Fun and Comfort). After a full fruit cycle, you can eat the fruit to gain rewards, then the tree resets to its dormant state.
💧 How to Grow It
To grow your Mystic Tree, keep it watered. There are 3 ways to do this:
- Manual: Click the tree and select "Water."
- Gardener: Waters every 3 days. Manual watering may still be needed.
- Irrigation: Use a sprinkler or sprayer + irrigation control for scheduled watering.
💡 Water it every game day (~2 real-life hours) for best results.
🍏 Fruit Rewards
After proper care, the tree enters a fruiting cycle with three fruit stages:
- New Fruit: Green, boosts all motives slightly.
- Mature Fruit: More potent motive boost.
- Ripe Fruit: Grants +1 random skill point.
Once eaten, the tree returns to dormant and must be watered again to restart the cycle.
🕒 Growth Timeline
The full cycle takes roughly 22 real-life hours:
- Dormant: 2h15
- Bloom: 4h30
- New Fruit: 6h15
- Mature Fruit: 9h15
- Ripe Fruit: ~
🌳 Tree Types
Your Mystic Tree will randomly be one of these types:
- 🍎 Apple Tree
- 🍊 Orange Tree
- 🍋 Lemon Tree
🖼️ Growth Stages (Visual)
Each Mystic Tree visually evolves through its stages:
- Dormant
- Bloom
- New Fruit
- Mature Fruit
- Ripe Fruit
🎯 Whiting Needs
Fastest to slowest:
- Nectar 🍇
- Salads 🥗
- Baked Goods 🍰
- Pet Ghost 👻 (Fun + Social)
- Cow Plant 🐄 (Fun + Social)
- Cotton Candy Machine 🍬 (Hunger + Fun)
💡 On Service, Skill, Welcome, Romance, and Entertainment lots, you can white all needs!
💀 Death
📖 Introduction
Death in SimNation is a quirky, supernatural experience that adds flavor to gameplay. It’s entirely optional and reversible. Whether you're into spooky fun or just curious about ghosts and revival, death offers entertaining scenarios without permanent consequences.
☠️ Terminal Methods
- Electrocution: Repairing broken electronics with low Mechanical skill and low motives.
- Drowning: Falling asleep while swimming with low Energy.
- Starvation: Neglect Hunger over 5–6 real hours. Can also occur during Crafting.
- Explosion: Working at the Robot Factory. Get caught near a malfunctioning robot.
👻 Being a Ghost
Ghosts can:
- Use interactions like Spook, Possess, and Headless Haunt
- See cause of death with a special animation
- Interact with other ghosts normally
- Access inventory (limited), but can't use most objects
⚠️ Motives are locked in decay (except Room), and can’t be raised unless interacting with other ghosts.
✨ Getting Revitalized
There are two ways to return to life:
- Wait: 24 Sims hours (~2 real hours) to receive revival prompt.
- Shaman: A Sim with 8 Cooking & 8 Charisma can perform Revitalize.
Shamans must be green and have enough space around them. Best spots: outdoors or street tiles. The revival takes ~1 minute and brings all motives (except Room) to half-green.
🪦 Tombstones & Urns
Dying leaves a marker:
- Urns: Indoor deaths
- Tombstones: Outdoor deaths (3 sizes)
- No marker: Death at Robot Factory
Tombstones and urns are Build Mode items and count toward lot limit. They can’t be sold. At your own home, you can move them. Others control graves on their lots.
They include a Mourn interaction that drains Social and adds roleplay flair.
